Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 850. Nov. 14. Baton Rouge (La.). South Carolina Gamecocks. 8

South Carolina and LSU will meet in a rare SEC West vs. East cross-divisional matchup. It’ll be the first time the two teams square off since 2015 when the Tigers rolled past the Gamecocks 45-24 in Baton Rouge.

In 2020 South Carolina will again travel to Death Valley for a November battle. By the time they make the trip, they’ll likely know whether or not Will Muschamp will be sticking around for the long haul as last season USC suffered a 4-8 season despite many projecting them to break out in the SEC East.

With home field and a South Carolina team simply looking to tread water, LSU should find a fairly easy victory.

Mississippi State Bulldogs. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Baton Rouge (La.). Oct. 24. 7. 893

The Tigers have won two straight over the rival Mississippi State Bulldogs after they were embarrassed in Starkville back in 2017 when they lost 37-7. LSU has dominated much of the all-time series, having lost just two games to the Bulldogs since the start of the new millennium.

Heading into 2020, LSU is entering a retool year while Mississippi State will be in reboot mode with new head coach Mike Leach coming to town and much of their defensive personal having been selected in the 2020 NFL Draft or having graduated.

With home field advantage, LSU should again be able to take care of their division rival from the Magnolia State.
