Another light schedule awaits Clemson football as it looks to make its sixth straight playoff and third straight national championship game.

Clemson football has not lost a regular season game since the shocking upset loss against Syracuse in 2017. Let that sink in for a moment.

While you can certainly attribute some of that to the ACC possibly being the weakest it has ever been, Clemson is clearly one of the most dominant programs in the country and would be winning in any conference in America, including the SEC.

Clemson brings back a loaded team yet again in 2020 and will be looking to win their sixth straight ACC championship. The ACC has not seen this level of dominance since Florida State was the dominant team in the 1990s.

The schedule sets things up nicely for Clemson, as they won’t have to face any of the top three teams that are perceived to be the favorites in the Coastal division: North Carolina, Miami or Virginia Tech. The Tigers will have their annual game against Georgia Tech and then a rematch of last years ACC championship when Virginia visits Death Valley at the end of September.

The only ranked team that the Tigers might face in the regular season will be when they face Notre Dame in November. Clemson might not be able to afford a regular season loss because of how weak the ACC is going to be perceived.

How will the Tigers fare in 2020?
