As one of the most dynamic receivers in the entire country, Tylan Wallace’s 2019 season was cut short due to a torn ACL and most thought that the star receiver would declare for the NFL draft and that was how his collegiate career would end far too early. Wallace pulled a stunner and decided to return to Oklahoma State for his senior season to help make the Cowboys a darkhorse pick for the College Football Playoff and the Big 12 title game.

Wallace burst onto the scene as a sophomore when he recorded 86 catches for 1,491 yards and 12 touchdowns and was one of the best receivers in the entire country. He was enjoying a nice season before tearing his ACL in 2019, despite a slight dip in the stats.

The talented wide out plays in an offense that is going to give him opportunities to put up a lot of yards against Big 12 defenses and with young quarterback Spencer Sanders and running back Chuba Hubbard returning, this offense could put up a lot of points and yards and with some team success — Wallace could get some Heisman buzz.

Wallace and the Cowboys are a Heisman contender and team, respectively, to keep an eye on in the Big 12.
