In the nearly 100-year history of Ball State football, the Cardinals have never won a bowl game and that’s all the reason I need to place them at No. 12 on this list.

Well that and the fact that head coach Mike Neu has won just 15 games in four seasons with the Cardinals, never winning six in one season. This should be a blowout in Week 2.

Are we really shocked that Rutgers is right here? The Scarlet Knights are one of the worst Power Five teams in the country and that won’t change right away under Greg Schiano.

Expect the program to trend in the right direction under Schiano (for the second time), but that won’t happen in year one. He has an extremely poor roster coming off a 2-10 season and the Scarlet Knights had the second-worst total offense in college football last year.

With Artur Sitkowski returning the offense will likely be shaky once again, so don’t expect the Knights to win more than 2-3 games in 2020.
