If it’s weird to see Indiana this high up in the opponent rankings, that’s because it is. The Hoosiers have been a constant bottom-dweller in the Big Ten, but Tom Allen has changed that and after two 5-7 seasons to start his tenure, he went 8-5 with a Gator Bowl appearance in 2019.

Indiana is bringing back star quarterback Michael Penix Jr. who excelled as a true freshman as well as Stevie Scott III and Whop Philyor. The defense, too, will be solid.

Michigan has had trouble with Indiana in the past and this season could be no different.

Jonathan Taylor’s departure in Madison will be felt by all Badger fans and it will go far beyond just running back production — he was a leader.

Returning to Wisconsin in 2020 will be Jack Coan at quarterback and Jack Sanborn on defense. There are some solid pieces on this team and the Badgers will undoubtedly be a contender in the Big Ten West and even if Coan struggles, starting Graham Mertz would almost be a better option.

The top receiver, running back and defenders are gone which makes the 2020 season a major question mark for the Badgers. Michigan could get revenge here to end September.
