Sean Clifford is back after throwing 23 touchdowns with 2,600 yards last season and so are Journey Brown, Noah Cain and Pat Freiermuth. This offense won’t be an issue.

Defensively, the Nittany Lions lose six starters to a unit that ranked No. 34 nationally and had one of the worst passing defenses in the country. If that secondary can improve, we could see the Nittany Lions rise up and contend for a playoff spot.

Nebraska gets Penn State at home but that doesn’t mean this is a sure win but this is definitely an upset alert.

Obviously Ohio State is No. 1 and it would be here even if the Cornhuskers got the Buckeyes at home. I mean, just look what happened last season when Ohio State came to Lincoln. The game was highly-anticipated but the Buckeyes dominated on the road, 48-7. The Cornhuskers got run off their own field.

Ohio State will be elite yet again and might just be the No. 1 team in the country at this point in the season, especially with Justin Fields back.

The Buckeyes will be scary and this one would be an absolute shocker if Nebraska was able to pull off a win here.
