TCU finished a disappointing 5-7 last season and whenever anyone starts to doubt Gary Patterson and the Horned Frogs, that’s when they completely turn things around.

Expect the Horned Frogs to contend in 2020 with Max Duggan at quarterback and Taye Barber rising at receiver as well as Darwin Barlow looking like a breakout candidate at running back. The defense ranked 27th nationally in total yards per game and should be solid once again.

The Horned Frogs will be bowling yet again, but will they pull off an upset here?

Dave Aranda has taken over at Baylor for Matt Rhule who won a total of eight games in his first two seasons but then completely turned the Bears around in 2020, winning 11 games and making an appearance in the Sugar Bowl.

Now the former LSU defensive coordinator will be tasked with continuing that momentum that Rhule built and he has a solid roster to work with, led by Charlie Brewer at quarterback.

A home game here for Texas makes this one winnable, but it’s not going to be a cakewalk. Baylor’s offense should be solid and the defense will continue its upward climb under Aranda.
