Big 12: Oklahoma State Cowboys

Texas could easily be considered for this spot, but out of fear of sounding unoriginal and boring, I decided to go with Oklahoma State. I don’t know what it is about the Cowboys that I just don’t believe in. I mean, if your favorite team was facing them, you wouldn’t be scared at all. They’re frequently a solid team, but almost never an insanely good team.

We’ll have to see, but as long as they’re in the same conference as Oklahoma and Texas, I don’t see them coming in second place. They’re coming off of a two-game skid to finish 2019 and I think confidence will be their downfall in 2020.

Side note: I also think Baylor is overrated, even with people projecting them to win seven games. I think they’ll be lucky to win four after Matt Rhule bolted for the NFL. Dave Aranda is going to have his work cut out for him in 2020.
