Oregon Ducks. 9. player. Scouting Report. Nov. 7. Eugene (Ore.). 820. Pick Analysis

In a potential Pac-12 championship game preview, USC will travel to Autzen Stadium to face what could be an Oregon team with playoff aspirations. USC will be looking to avenge last seasons 56-24 beatdown that they got at the hands of the Ducks and this will be another chance for Clay Helton to try and prove to the Trojans fanbase that he is the man for the job.

The two teams don’t play annually, which is a shame, because these are the two premier programs in the Pac-12.

This is a tough matchup for the Trojans because of the Ducks defense and how it can matchup with USC’s explosive offense. Oregon is a physical football team and that will be a huge advantage that they have over the Trojans, as they have the best left tackle in the country in Penei Sewell and one of the top pass rushers in the country in Kayvon Thibodeaux.

This will be a closer game than 2019, but the Ducks will prevail against USC. Expect a rematch later in the season, however.

Final Score: USC 28, Oregon 38 (6-3, 5-2)

Pick Analysis. 10. 818. Scouting Report. Nov. 14. Los Angeles (Calif.). Washington Huskies. player

The Trojans will have to bounce back quickly after a loss to Oregon, as the Huskies will be coming to town and they will be looking to compete for the Pac-12 title.

Washington is undergoing some major changes in its football program, as Chris Petersen stunningly stepped down as the head coach and defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake will be taking over what has been the Pac-12’s best program in recent seasons.

Washington will be looking for a new starting quarterback, running back and some of their best offensive linemen on that side of the ball. The Huskies should still be solid on the defensive side of the ball and they will have to be with so many new faces on offense, as well as new offensive coordinator John Donovan.

I think the Huskies will be fine in the long run with Lake as the head coach, but this will be a transition year for the program and with too many new faces on offense, they could struggle to beat teams like USC.

Final Score: USC 27, Washington 20 (7-3, 6-2)
