Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Vanderbilt Commodores. 9. 887. Nov. 7. Nashville (Tenn.). player

Florida will be coming off of a disappointing loss to Georgia, but they will need to refocus and try to make their third straight New Year’s Six bowl.

The Gators will travel to Nashville to face Vanderbilt, who is typically in the SEC East cellar. Commodores head coach Derek Mason is on the hot seat and will need to make a bowl game this season to even have a chance to stay in Nashville.

Vanderbilt had a 3-9 season a year ago and have yet to produce a winning season under Mason. Even for a school like Vanderbilt, that is unacceptable in year seven of a coach’s tenure. The defense returns a lot of experience, but they lack any sort of star power on offense.

Expect a comfortable Gator victory.

Final Score: Florida 49, Vanderbilt 10  (7-2, 5-2)

Nov. 14. Gainesville (Fla.). Missouri Tigers. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 822. 10

In the Gators’ final SEC game of the 2020 season, they will return home to welcome Missouri and new head coach Eli Drinkwitz to the Swamp.

Missouri will be a hard team to peg in 2020 due to losing some key starters and the fact that Drinkwitz has only one year of experience as a head coach, in which he went 13-1 as the head coach of Appalachian State last season.

The Tigers will be turning to former TCU quarterback Shawn Robinson to lead the offense, which only returns four starters. The defense should be solid once again with seven starters returning and they will be key in guiding the team while the offense finds its footing.

Missouri has had a lot of success against the Gators ever since joining the SEC, earning a 4-4 record versus Florida and winning in a blowout the last time the two teams met in Gainesville. The Gators should win comfortably, but keep an eye on Missouri this season.

Final Score: Florida 38, Missouri 24 (8-2, 6-2)
