Every year, there is a long list of head coaches that are on the hot seat. These coaches could be out of a job in college football after 2020.

Every season is a chance for all teams and all coaches to push for a conference championship or national championship. For some coaches, this 2020 college football season is huge as they will need a good or great season to save their jobs.

There are plenty of head coaches that are using this season to get themselves out of the hot seats from their respective universities. Every year, there are a high number of teams looking to make changes at head coaches after a disappointing couple of seasons or one single disastrous season. Some of the high-volume might look to make the change based solely on conference championship contention.

For schools like the Michigan Wolverines with Jim Harbaugh, Nebraska Cornhuskers with Scott Frost or UCLA Bruins with Chip Kelly, they are warming up the seats for their coaches to get results.

For other teams, they are putting serious pressure on their head coaches to show some signs of improvement. Some of these decisions could come in the middle of the season to right after their season is concluded.

It will be a do-or-die season for these teams and these head coaches, otherwise, they will be coaching at other universities with a smaller role.
