Will Nebraska football finally turn things around in the third year of the Scott Frost era, or will it be another long season in Lincoln?

The Scott Frost era at Nebraska has not gone as expected thus far. After three seasons of Mike Riley, the Huskers hired their former quarterback in Frost after he led UCF to a 13-0 season in 2017.

Frost was expected by many to turn around his alma mater’s program quickly but went instead Nebraska went just 4-8 in 2018 and 5-7 in 2019 for a combined 9-15 record and no bowl game appearances to kick off the new era.

Heading into 2020, the Huskers will finally begin to have an experienced group of Frost’s recruits led by quarterback Adrian Martinez. While this could lead to the improvement folks in the Cornhusker state are looking for, it could also end the Frost era if the team fails to produce.

Looking at their 2020 schedule, not much will come easy as they take on two of the Big Ten East’s elite programs, play several of their hardest divisional games on the road and take on a MAC opponent coming off a strong season and perhaps the AAC favorite.

Will the Huskers break their four-year bowl game drought in 2020?

Here are game-by-game predictions for 2020.
