3. DeaMonte Trayanum, Running Back

Eno Benjamin was one of the best players Arizona State has had in awhile. In his last two years, he ran for 2,725 yards and 26 touchdowns along with 610 receiving yards.

With Benjamin now on the Cardinals, someone is gonna have to step up in the ground game. Leading returning rusher AJ Carter recently entered the transfer portal so there should be plenty of opportunities for freshman DeaMonte Trayanum. He was a four-star recruit and the 23rd-ranked running back in the country, according to 247Sports.

Trayanum as well as four star running back Daniyel Ngata both enrolled early back in January, looking to put some early work in and be ready for their opportunities come the fall.

As a junior in high school Trayanum ran for 1,313 yards and 26 touchdowns and averaged 12.4 yards per carry. He is the bigger of the two freshmen at 5-foot-11, 215 pounds while Ngata is 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds.

These two will likely be competing for the starting job but expect both to get carries this season.
