Kedon Slovis is the Pac-12 Heisman darkhorse this season. Slovis came in relief of JT Daniels and was Pac-12 freshman of the year. He returns to a USC offense that is loaded with offensive talent this season. In offensive coordinator Graham Harrell’s air-raid offense, he will get to throw the football around a lot.

Despite Michael Pittman Jr. leaving early for the NFL, the Trojans return three of their top receivers, including Tyler Vaughns and Amon-Ra St. Brown. If Bru McCoy is healthy and lives up to his five-star recruiting ranking, the Trojans will have one heck of a receiving corps.

Unlike his mentor Mike Leach, Harrell likes to run the ball. The Trojans return Stephen Carr and Markese Stepp from injury. Vavae Malepeai also returns. All three are reliable receivers as well.

Slovis proved he could make all the throws in Harrell’s offense, and he can lead the team as well. With so much talent, Slovis will put up numbers; will the team win enough games? Hiring Todd Orlando as the defensive coordinator should help improve the defense.

With so much talent on offense, they might just outscore everyone.
