Despite a 4-8 season in 2019, Will Muschamp’s South Carolina football team has plenty of talent that was overlooked last season.

The South Carolina Gamecocks’ 2019 season did not go as planned. In Week 1, the team lost to North Carolina and starting quarterback Jake Bentley to a season-ending injury and from there, the entire campaign spiraled out of control.

South Carolina finished the season just 4-8, which included a home loss to Appalachian State and a 3-5 conference record.

The team did pull off a massive upset victory over then ranked No. 3 Georgia on the road and blew out an 8-5 Kentucky team proving that there was indeed serious talent on their roster.

Entering a make-or-break year for head coach Will Muschamp in 2020, the Gamecocks will be looking for that talent to show flashes and put together a winning campaign.

Coming off a four-win season, it’s no surprise a lot off the talent on the Gamecocks roster is overlooked and underrated by many.
