After starring on Last Chance U’s latest season as one of the fan favorites, Dior Walker-Scott moved on and is fighting for a spot on an FBS roster.

Every season of Last Chance U yields some fan favorites and almost immediately when Season 5 came out, Dior Walker-Scott stood out.

The talented receiver made an impact on the field and his eye-popping catches and explosiveness with the ball in his hands caught the eye of Last Chance U fans everywhere, but it was his off-field struggles that really made people want to root for him.

In the first episode, the coaching staff spoke highly of Dior and said how hard of a worker he was. That was obvious when it showed him working at Wing Stop on the night shift after practices far from Laney College. He told counselors and coaches that he was “couch-surfing” but the cameras showed him sleeping in his own car.

Basically, Dior was without a place of residence and he declined help from Laney College because his job was too far from the housing they were willing to provide him.

On top of all that, he said that he was stressed out but didn’t want to tell his mom about it because he didn’t want her to worry. That statement right there was heartbreaking to hear because he felt as if he was all on his own and didn’t want to burden anyone else.

Walker-Scott was fun to watch as a receiver and the coaching staff even turned to him to try out some quarterback when three went down with injuries in the first two games of the year.

So where is the talented wide out now?

According to reports, he was offered a spot at Hawaii where he was asked to walk-on with the Rainbow Warriors.

Dior earned this spot before the pandemic struck and he moved to Hawaii where he could be close to the team so he’s already gearing up for Division 1 football. He may not be on scholarship, but that could all change soon enough with a new coaching staff in place.
