After Clemson football landed its best recruiting class under Dabo Swinney, there’s more young talent than ever on this roster.

Dabo Swinney has built something special at Clemson. Over the past five seasons, the Tigers have a 69-5 record, five ACC titles, made the College Football Playoff five times, been to four national title games and have won two championships.

Swinney has also turned Clemson into an NFL factory with 31 players being drafted over the past five seasons.

Very few teams are able to continue to have success after losing so much talent year in and year out. The craziest part about their success is they never had a top five recruiting class in those years. The past seven seasons, the Tigers’ recruiting classes have ranked No. 10, No. 7, No. 16, No. 11, No. 9, No. 16 and No. 15 according to 247Sports.

The 2020 class is the highest-ranked class Dabo has had in his time at Clemson, third behind Georgia and Alabama.

Dabo and his defensive mastermind Brent Venables have been able to develop their players at a level nobody else in the country has been able to match. It’s scary thinking how long this dynasty will last if the Tigers continually ink top five classes.

Coming into the 2020 season, it’s almost a sure thing Clemson will be back in the playoff. There’s so much talent on this roster it’s tough to imagine them losing a conference game. After losing seven players to the draft there’s gonna be opportunities for young guys to step in and produce.

Look out for these three guys to make an impact early on in their careers.
