2. Lorenzo Lingard, RB (Miami to Florida)

Coming out of high school, five-star running back Lorenzo Lingard held offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Auburn, Clemson and just about any other major program that a recruit would want to play for. The Orange City, Fla., native decided to stay close to home and committed to play football for the Miami Hurricanes.

But his career would never materialize the way that college football fans were expecting. After an injury that derailed is freshman season, he decided to transfer away from a dead offense. He stayed close to home, though, and would commit to Florida, where he was granted immediate eligibility.

Lingard will likely begin the season rotating with Gator running back Dameon Pierce, but the former prized recruit will look to take over the starting spot by the time the season gets into full swing.

There may not be a more naturally talented player on this list, so keep a close eye on Lingard and the Florida Gators as they’ll make a push to win the SEC in 2020.
