Yet another cakewalk game for the Tide, following up an easy win over Arkansas, Missouri is also under the direction of a new head coach in Eli Drinkwitz.

Drinkwitz had plenty of success at App State, but the Tigers are in a much different place than his Mountaineers were when he took over for Scott Satterfield. He’s got a lot of work to do, but there’s no chance they have enough firepower to take down mighty Alabama, even at home.

When is the best time to see the reigning national champs? After a bye week, of course.

This is the first post-bye week game for Alabama in 2020, in a perfect world, and the Tide will get that extra week to prepare for their toughest road game of the season.

Joe Burrow, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Grant Delpit and Justin Jefferson are all gone, but the Tigers are going to reload. Still, this is a favorable situation to face LSU.

This isn’t exactly the perfect follow-up to the LSU matchup, but hosting Texas A&M after a potential huge road win over the reigning national champs would be the perfect time to secure back-to-back momentum-building victories. Plus, Alabama has too many tough opponents to make sure each one comes after a bye.

Texas A&M has the talent to give Alabama a test, but the Aggies likely won’t pull off this road upset and another ranked win would be huge for the Tide’s playoff hopes.
