If Arkansas football fans lived in a perfect world, their 2020 SEC-only schedule would look a little something like this.

For Arkansas, the Chad Morris era didn’t go quite as planned. The former SMU head coach promised to bring a high-powered offense to Fayetteville, but that never truly came to fruition as he went a paltry 4-18 in his two seasons with the Razorbacks — he was fired before the end of year No. 2 with the program.

Morris also never won a single game in SEC play, so a conference-only schedule might seem daunting for Razorback fans heading into a weird 2020 season.

Sam Pittman takes over as the new head coach after spending some time as Georgia’s associate head coach and offensive line coach and he is familiar with the program as he was the offensive line coach back in 2015. He has won plenty of fans over already and the future seems bright.

The start of the Pittman era might be a little rocky, however, as the 2020 schedule will likely do the Razorbacks no favors. Arkansas arguably has the toughest schedule in the entire SEC, facing the likes of Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee and Texas A&M. There are no breaks.

The SEC is set to release its official schedule with dates on Monday night and Arkansas fans are hoping for some decent news regarding the order of which this gauntlet is played.

In a perfect world, what would Arkansas’ 2020 schedule look like?
