Scouting Report. player. Pick Analysis. Oct. 24. Gainesville (Fla.). Missouri Tigers. 5. 822

In the Gators next SEC game of the 2020 season, they will remain at home to welcome Missouri and new head coach Eli Drinkwitz to The Swamp.

Missouri will be a hard team to peg in 2020 due to losing some key starters and the fact that Drinkwitz has only one year of experience as a head coach, in which he went 13-1 as the head coach of Appalachian State last season.

The Tigers will be turning to former TCU quarterback Shawn Robinson to lead the offense, which only returns four starters. The defense should be solid once again with seven starters returning and they will be key in guiding the team while the offense finds its footing.

Missouri has had a lot of success against the Gators ever since joining the SEC, earning a 4-4 record versus Florida and winning in a blowout the last time the two teams met in Gainesville. The Gators should win comfortably, but keep an eye on Missouri this season.

Final Score: Florida 38, Missouri 24 (3-2)

Nov. 7. Jacksonville (Fla.). 6. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 814. Georgia Bulldogs

The game that will decide the SEC East and quite possibly the conference champion, Georgia and Florida will meet for the 98th time with the stakes as large as ever. This is a game that every football fan should have circled on their calendar because of the implications and the hype surrounding it.

Georgia enters with a three-game winning streak over the Gators and Dan Mullen has not fared well against a Kirby Smart defense, gaining only one win against the coach since 2008. If Florida is to get to Atlanta and challenge for a College Football Playoff berth, it’s imperative that they find a way to beat the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs will be trying to change things up on offense, with former Oklahoma State and NFL offensive coordinator Todd Monken taking over the play-calling. It’s assumed that Wake Forest transfer Jamie Newman will take over on offense, but could be pushed by the latest transfer quarterback addition, former USC quarterback JT Daniels.

Georgia will have to replace four starters on the offensive line, but will have plenty of talent in the backfield. The Dawgs will have one of the best defenses in the country and I think that will be the big difference in this game.

The offense should be finding their groove by this point in the season and I think the bottom line is that they are just more talented and deep than the Gators are. The Dawgs wins a close one and wins their fourth straight SEC East title.

Final Score: Florida 27, Georgia 34 (3-3)
