Louisville Football: Game-by-game predictions for 2020

Micale Cunningham leads one of the better offenses in the ACC. Can Louisville football take another step forward in Scott Satterfield’s second season?
The Louisville Cardinals had a solid first season under former Appalachian State head coach Scott Satterfield. The finished the season 8-5 and won the Music City Bowl against Mississippi State. It was a surprising season for many reasons.
Bobby Petrino left the program a complete mess. The relationships between the coaching staff and the players were fractured. He had alienated so many coaches and coordinators, he could only get his in-laws to work for him.
Satterfield did not have it easy when arriving in Louisville. Thirteen players transfer at the beginning of this tenure, severely hurting their depth. One of those players, Jonathan Greenard, had a stellar season for the Florida Gators.
The offensive line was in shambles, the defense was thin and inexperienced, and there was a three-way battle for QB1. Yet Satterfield got them to eight wins and a bowl game.
Will the Cardinals take the next step under Satterfield. This season is truncated season due to COVID-19. Right now, only the SEC, ACC and Big 12 are playing this season.
What will this unique season hold for the Cardinals? Here are their game-by-game predictions.
