The Texas Longhorns host the Baylor Bears looking to avenge their 24-10 loss last season. Texas comes into this game with both a new offensive and defensive coordinators. Sam Ehlinger returns at quarterback the Longhorns but he will do so without leading receiver Devin Duvernay.

Keaontay Ingram and No. 1 running back recruit Bijan Robinson lead a loaded backfield. The defense, which was decimated by injuries, returns healthy. This season we see if the high level recruiting the Longhorns have done translates onto the field; it does.

The Bears fall short in their third one-possession game of the season.

Final Score: Baylor 21, Texas 28 (3-2, 2-2)

The Horned Frogs started freshman quarterback Max Duggan last season and took their lumps. That included a 29-23 home loss to the Bears. Duggan is a year older, wiser and more mature. The Horned Frogs lose their best offensive player, Jalen Reagor, to the NFL but add Nebraska transfer JD Spielman.

Defensively, the Horned Frogs lose Ross Blaklock, Jeff Gladney and Vernon Scott to the NFL. Can they make up for the loss of that much NFL-caliber talent?

The Bears should have enough offense and defense to win this game. However, it seems when no one is talking about TCU is when they come up big. The Horned Frogs go to Waco and pull off the upset in yet another close game by Baylor.

Final Score: Baylor 24, TCU 27 (3-3, 2-3)
