Notre Dame Football: Updated game-by-game predictions for 2020

Wake Forest is going to have a bit of a different look this season with Jamie Newman transferring to Georgia which gives way to Sam Hartman under center.

While many are assuming Wake takes a major step back without Newman, Hartman is going to be a solid replacement and he has plenty of experience. Don’t ever sleep on a Dave Clawson-coached team either. He’ll have the Demon Deacons ready for this one and it’ll end up being way closer than people expect.

Final Score: Notre Dame 31, Wake Forest 27 (3-0, 2-0)

If there’s one team in the ACC not named Clemson that could give Notre Dame problems, it’s going to be Florida State.

The Seminoles are now under the guidance of first-year head coach Mike Norvell after parting ways with Willie Taggart last year and he’s going to have a wealth of talent to work with. Coaching has been the issue for years as the Seminoles have more than enough talent to compete for the ACC title.

However, I don’t see the Seminoles pulling off a road upset here even though it’ll be a classic.
