This will be Oklahoma’s plus-one game to go along with its conference schedule. The Sooners will use this as a warmup for conference play and should blow by the Bears with ease. The two things to watch will be Spencer Rattler in his first start and if Oklahoma can exit this game without in any injuries.

Final Score: Oklahoma 70, Missouri State 10 (1-0)

Norman (Okla.). 2. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Sept. 26. player. 823. Kansas State Wildcats

The lone team to beat Oklahoma in the regular season last fall, the Wildcats were a bit of a surprise in head coach Chris Kleiman’s first season, finishing 8-5. He is known for his success at North Dakota State and he is taking the same approach in building Kansas State, building a physical football team that is not scared to play any opponent at anytime and anywhere.

Repeating last year’s success will be a tough ask even though the Wildcats are returning starting quarterback Skylar Thompson.

Kansas State will not lie down and just let Oklahoma run over them, but when you only return two starters on offense, that is not a recipe for winning in the high-flying Big 12. Oklahoma will be out for a revenge and should win this game by double digits.

Final Score: Oklahoma 42, Kansas State 21 (2-0, 1-0 Big 12)
