Oct. 10. Vanderbilt Commodores. 3. 887. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Nashville (Tenn.). player

After two really tough games, South Carolina will go on the road to take on the Commodores in what will be a must-win for the Gamecocks’ bowl hopes.

This will be a game between two coaches in Will Muschamp and Derek Mason who are both on the hot seat going into the 2020 season and they will both be looking to score a win here. South Carolina will get the win and try to build a little momentum, as it still has some games against some of the SEC’s best teams.

South Carolina will have the talent advantage at every position and should win this game comfortably.

Final Score: South Carolina 35, Vanderbilt 24 (1-2)

Auburn Tigers. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Oct. 17. 842. Columbia (S.C.). 4

Another week, another tough game against one of the best teams in the SEC. This week, star quarterback Bo Nix and the Auburn Tigers will come to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks and this is a game that could be more interesting than it first appears.

South Carolina has one of the best defensive backfields in the country and could matchup well with the Auburn receivers and Nix did struggle throwing the ball at times last season when he faced top-tier secondaries.

Auburn will have to replace four starters on the offensive line and a lot of star power on defense as well.

South Carolina could be an intriguing matchup for Auburn, but I think the talent and coaching advantage that the Tigers will have will shine through. Nix makes enough plays through the air to avoid the upset in Columbia.

Final Score: South Carolina 17, Auburn 28 (1-3)
