In a season seemingly filled with uncertainty, one thing seems like a good bet: Clemson football back in the playoff for a sixth straight season.

Every preseason, projections fly in about who analysts and magazines think will make the College Football Playoff and it seems every year that they are picking for the remaining three teams in the national semifinal because it is already a guarantee that Clemson football will occupy one of those spots.

People that don’t like Clemson will point out that playing in the ACC helps the Tigers have an easy path to the playoff each season, but don’t let things like that distract you from the fact that Dabo Swinney has built one of the great and sustainable dynasties in college football.

Clemson was not faced with a particularly daunting non-conference schedule, but with the ACC going to a 10-game conference schedule with a plus one, Clemson has a very clear path back to the playoff.

With stars like quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and Amari Rodgers, Clemson is just more talented and deep than every team that they will play. One factor that can’t be overlooked is that the last two instances in which Clemson lost in the playoff, they returned to win the national championship the next season.

Clemson is hungry to prove that they are still the kings of college football and are aiming for their third title in the last five seasons.

Here is how Clemson’s 2020 schedule will play out.
