Texas A&M football is staring down a 10-game conference schedule, ready to kick off in September. How does the team shape up?

The Aggies didn’t have the greatest season a year ago, though they played three top-ranked teams in Clemson, Alabama and LSU as well as two top 10 teams in Auburn and Georgia.

Those four losses weren’t exactly the worst in the world, but an 8-5 season is what is coming to be expected in Aggieland and that isn’t going to cut it with how much Jimbo Fisher is being paid to supposedly put this team in the heat of the SEC race.

Now, this team faces a 10-game conference-only schedule that may or may not happen due to a global pandemic. They have some stretches of the season that aren’t too great looking for them and others that seem favorable. The goal? At least eight regular-season wins and being close in those losses if there are any.

The question now is this, how does this team stack up on both sides of the ball compared to the rest of the conference? This preview will break down the offense, the defense, and my thoughts on the schedule that sits in front of the Aggies. So, on that note, let’s get started.
