Week 2 has come in gone in the 2020 college football season and the new AP poll is out. Who are the winners and losers from this week’s poll?

There were a lack of marquee games across the nation this week, but don’t let that distract you from the fact there were some important lessons to be learned.

The Sun Belt made its presence felt on Saturday with not one, not two, but three victories over the Big 12 and App State and Georgia Southern survived some big upset bids. Clemson looks like the class of the ACC after destroying Wake Forest in primetime 37-13 and to be truthful, that game could have been so much worse, but the Tigers let their foot off the gas after a going up big in the first half.

This week’s AP Top 25 was highly anticipated mostly because this weeks poll would drop out the teams that have decided not to play in the Big Ten and the Pac-12 and that would mean that there would be a lot of new teams in the mix, especially toward the bottom.

There was not much movement at the top with Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia and Florida making up the top five with Ohio State dropping out. This year will be a wild ride in the AP poll with the Big Ten expecting to possibly make a comeback in October.

Here are the winners and losers from this week’s AP poll.
