Week 3 of the 2020 college football season will see much more impactful matchups that will impact the playoff race. Let’s get bold.

The third week of the 2020 season is quickly approaching. There will a mixture of big matchups from Group of Five and Power Fives conferences.

The first two weeks of the season have already made a tremendous impact in the race for the College Football Playoff. Not a lot of people would have guessed that the Big 12 had not one, but three big upsets from teams from the Sun Belt. These three games were just some of the many storylines that were presented in Week 2.

There will be plenty of big storylines and big matchups going into the third of the season. We will see teams like the No. 11 Oklahoma State Cowboys, the No. 13 Cincinnati Bearcats and the No. 14 UCF Golden Knights will play their first games of the season this Saturday.

There will plenty of people watching what these teams will do after some teams from the Big 12 lost their first games of the season.

There will be some bold statements from several media analysts going into Week 3 as the season continues to gain more traction. Expect some teams from the Power Five to push for serious playoff talk as well as teams like Cincinnati and UCF to be the first teams from a non-Power Five conference to reach the College Football Playoff.
