Week 3 offers some more action, but one particular conference may be the place for upsets. Who’s on this week’s college football upset alert?

Last week was a solid opening week of Power Five football. Well, for most teams.

The Big 12 would have likely rather been doing anything but playing football last Saturday, as the Sun Belt dominated Iowa State, Kansas State and Kansas. Texas Tech escaped Houston Baptist by 3. As bad as it was, it could have been worse.

Moving to this week, most of the Big 12 is off, but that doesn’t mean the sport of college football is coming to a stop. We have 23 games this weekend including a Friday night game between Campbell and Coastal Carolina which, spoiler, won’t be anywhere near this upset alert list.

Last week’s teams on alert went 0-2. Will that trend continue?

Please note: a game considered an “upset alert” is just that, an alert. It is in no way a prediction.
