Will we see Tuesday and Wednesday night #MACtion return?

Rumors are that the MAC is returning, and will be playing an amended conference schedule this season. Rumors are that the conference will be meeting on Saturday to discuss safe ways for the teams to get back on the field.

The league is looking ideally at an eight-week season, with a conference title game on Dec. 16 or 17. The league would play games on Tuesday and Thursday nights as they normally do.

Ideally, the league would benefit tremendously if the Big Ten indeed does add an non-conference game. The main reason why the MAC canceled their season in August, shortly after the Big Ten canceled their season, was because the big money games for these schools are against Power Five opponents.

The MAC relies heavily on the Big Ten to schedule those big money non-conference games. If they can get a single game apiece with Big Ten schools, I almost guarantee that the MAC will be back and #MACtion will be back on the field.
