2. Micale Cunningham shines

If you don’t know who Micale Cunningham is yet, pay attention this Saturday. Cunningham is one of the most underrated quarterbacks and playmakers in the country.

Last season, you wouldn’t have seen his name on many quarterback stat leaderboards because he fell just short of the minimum requirement of 15 passing attempts a game to join the list. If he passed that threshold he would have finished second in the country in QB rating behind Joe Burrow (with a 194.4 rating) and first in yards per attempt.

Cunningham looked good last week throwing three touchdowns and rushing for another. This week, Miami’s defense is a huge step up but I think he’ll shine against them. His dual-threat ability could give the Hurricanes a little trouble along with his stud receiving corps.

Last week, UAB receiver Myron Mitchell had eight receptions for 117 yards, Cunningham has multiple guys who could turn into mismatches and put up numbers like Mitchell’s.

This Louisville offense is a whole other beast compared to UAB’s and come Sunday morning, don’t be surprised if Cunningham is the talk of college football.
