3. Oklahoma State’s offense looked very one-dimensional

Prior to Spencer Sanders going down with an injury, the Cowboys were not eager to pass the ball with just two of their first 20 plays being pass plays. It did not get any better when backup Ethan Bullock entered the contest.

Regardless of the talent on the outside with Tylan Wallace and Dillon Stoner, Oklahoma State was not willing to test the Hurricane vertically.

The Cowboys threw the ball just six times in the first half and Tulsa double-covering Wallace constantly didn’t help opening up the playbook.

That wasn’t until Oklahoma State started taking shots down field and when Wallace started making the plays college football fans are so accustomed to seeing.

Oklahoma State has some questions to answer moving forward.
