1. Clemson Tigers (2-0, 1-0 ACC)

The Tigers are one of 10 teams in the FBS to start their season with a 2-0 record. They have started their revenge tour with an away 37-13 win over their ACC rivals in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Week 2. This past Saturday, the Tigers hosted The Citadel, where they dominated 49-0.

Trevor Lawrence continues to be one of the most impressive and impactful players in the nation. He continues to be the Heisman Trophy favorite of many prominent media outlets. Senior running back Travis Etienne already had a 100 rushing yard performance in the win over the Demon Deacons in the second week of the season.

Defensively, the Tigers have seen some stars step up after the loss of some significant playmakers in the linebacker corps and defensive line. Defensive end Myles Murphy is stepping up already as a true freshman. He leads the team in total tackles with nine, five tackles for loss and two sacks. The Tigers will look to continue their defensive efficiency as they will play more productive offenses.

The Tigers will be off for the fourth week of the season before they take on Virginia in Clemson on Oct. 3. The Cavaliers have yet to play an opponent this season as they will host Duke (0-2) this Saturday. This bye week will be a great opportunity to rest up as the Tigers will soon play teams that have a great chance to compete for the ACC title.
