The SEC returns to action this weekend, and one team in particular should be worried. Who will be on college football’s Week 4 upset alert?

The return of the SEC brings with it what feels like the first true major weekend of college football this season. In addition to the SEC, Big 12 conference play begins and leads a 29-game Saturday schedule.

There weren’t many upsets last week. Marshall best Appalachian State in a surprise, but the other seven ranked teams that faced unranked teams were all victorious.

As for last week’s upset alert, Duke lost to Boston College, while UCF didn’t have a problem with Georgia Tech. Baylor against Houston was postponed due to COVID-19. Teams on upset alert are 1-3-1 in 2020. Clearly this is not a list you want to be on.

Will it be more bad news for these teams?

As always, a disclaimer: A game considered an “upset alert” is just that, an alert. It is in no way a prediction.
