Alabama football took care of business with a dominant victory over Missouri. The Crimson Tide look primed for another playoff run. What did we learn?

The talent factory in Tuscaloosa continues to roll. The recruiting efforts made by Nick Saban and his staff every year is simply incredible. Alabama has sent 49 players to the NFL Draft since 2016, but those players get replaced very quickly. The endless cycle continues year in and year out for the Crimson Tide.

For 2020, Alabama had to replace their starting quarterback, two starting receivers, starting left tackle, two defensive backs and two linebackers. Saturday night showed that they can do that no problem. While Missouri is not the best the SEC has to offer, Alabama steamrolled them on the road with no issues.

Jaylen Waddle put on a show finishing with eight catches on 10 targets for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Mac Jones continued to progress and showed he is capable of leading this high powered offense. Najee Harris controlled the tempo at the start of the game behind this big Alabama offensive line. Harris finished the game with over 100 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns.

The Crimson Tide defense held its own as well. They held the Missouri offense to 297 total yards of offense, with the majority of those coming in garbage time. Dylan Moses looked great in his first game back after a torn ACL robbed his 2019 season.

All in all, it was a balanced effort by this Alabama team that has playoff dreams to look forward to. What did we learn?
