Baylor football finally gets on the field for the first time this season as they blew out the Kansas Jayhawks in a Big 12 matchup 47-14.

47. 860. Final. 14. 821

Kansas got off to a fast start with their freshman quarterback Jalon Daniels as he led them right down the field with ease. Star running back Pooka Williams Jr. finished the opening drive with a 21-yard touchdown to take a 7-0 lead.

That lead wouldn’t last long as Baylor racked up 17 straight points with the first touchdown scored by running back Trestan Ebner. Veteran quarterback Charlie Brewer threw his first touchdown of the season connecting with Ebner on an 18-yard wheel route to put the Bears up 17-7 at halftime.

Ebner continued his dominance by starting the second half with a kickoff return for a touchdown to put Baylor up 24-7. On the first Baylor offensive possession of the half, running back John Lovett showed some speed running in for a seven-yard score to push the lead to 31-7.

After another Ebner kickoff return for a touchdown off a safety, Baylor was on cruise control as they defeated Kansas 47-14.
