1. D’Eriq King has earned right to be in Heisman conversation

In the first half alone against Florida State, D’Eriq King threw for 222 yards on 22-for-30 passing attempts that included two touchdown passes. Also in the first half, King he ran for 38 yards averaging 6.3 yards a carry.

Prior to the game versus the Seminoles, he in the Hurricanes first two victories threw four touchdowns and zero interceptions and passed for a total of 469 yards. He also through those first two games ran for a touchdown and had just under a hundred yards total rushing.

King ended the game with 267 yards passing and 65 yards rushing as the backup quarterback N’Kosi Perry played the majority of the fourth quarter.

If King keeps leading the Hurricanes to victories, he will definitely be in the Heisman conversation later on in this season. He will have a huge opportunity to showcase his talents when Miami travels to play Clemson on Oct. 10.
