Mississippi State Football: 3 takeaways from shocking upset over LSU

2. Myles Brennan got better as time went on
Myles Brennan did not start this game off well at all. He looked confused and overall just not ready for SEC play. However, he did get better as time went on which is a good sign for the LSU faithful. He finished with 27-of-46 with 345 yards passing, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
He was not exactly great, seeing his team get into a hole early on.
However, he got better and overall looked like an SEC caliber quarterback by the end of the game. Did he do enough to show that this team is going to be able to make noise down the stretch? I am not so sure, because the team as a whole didn’t look ready. However, I have been wrong before, so we shall see.
