1. Is Mississippi State a threat in the West?

Everyone thought that LSU would be a threat in the West behind Alabama. However, now with one loss, that dream is all but shot unless they beat Alabama in a few weeks.

So now, we see Mississippi State emerge with Kylin Hill and KJ Costello at the helm and wonder if they could be the team that could challenge the Crimson Tide atop the rankings.

In my opinion? No, Mississippi State doesn’t have enough to challenge Alabama and neither does LSU. Neither team looked great throughout the entire game. Everyone looked young and not fully ready at some point throughout the game and I just don’t see either team getting things together enough to win the West.
