1. Matt Corral looks like the answer at quarterback

If there was any doubt heading into this game about who the starting quarterback for the Rebels should be moving forward, that should be wiped away. Matt Corral has secured the job.

Heading into the year, many believed that John Rhys Plumlee was the best option because he was the most dynamic in the quarterback room.

Lane Kiffin decided to go with Corral in the opener and it paid major dividends as the talented sophomore had a breakout game and looked like the true No. 1 quarterback on the roster. There shouldn’t be any doubt moving forward as he passed for 395 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 22-of-31 completions.

And we all thought Plumlee was the only dual-threat option at quarterback, but Corral finished with 50 rushing yards with a long of 20.

Ole Miss seemed to have found its quarterback. Watch out, SEC.
