2. UCF has plenty of elite weapons

There aren’t many teams around college football with the type of weapons that UCF has. The Knights are loaded at receiver and running back and they make life extremely difficult for anyone they face — just ask Georgia Tech and East Carolina.

The Knights finished the game with over 630 yards and 51 points and they made it look easy. If they keep this up, they’re going to run away with the AAC.

Let’s look at what the receivers did on Saturday. Jaylon Robinson had nine catches for a game-high 150 yards and two touchdowns and he almost wasn’t the top receiver for his own team. Marlon Williams led all receivers with 13 receptions for 136 yards and he had just one less reception than East Carolina’s entire receiving corps.

Jacob Harris added five catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.

At running back, Greg McCrae had 16 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown, Bentavious Thompson had 77 yards on 10 carries and Johnny Richardson had 41 yards on four carries with a touchdown.

Weapons galore.
