Although the Gamecocks’ offensive line looks stronger this season, it still has a great deal of room for improvement. If Collin Hill isn’t willing to run the ball due to his injury, the Gamecocks should consider the dual-threat quarterback option and switch he and Ryan Hilinski up during the game.

South Carolina also needs to work on pass protection, and Shi Smith can not be the only player for the quarterback to turn to.

Tennessee’s fifth-year senior quarterback Jarrett Guarantano had a decent night on Saturday. He completed 19-of-31 passes for 259 yards and one touchdown for a 142.1 rating.

Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt said, “We’ve got to go back and figure out where we are offensively and where we can create some consistency.”
