14. Arkansas Razorbacks

Despite a 7-5 deficit at halftime, the Georgia Bulldogs zipped past Arkansas and made Feleipe Franks look as if he wasn’t sure what was going on and that pushes the Razorbacks to the bottom of the conference. Now, they face off against Mississippi State who just knocked off LSU. I don’t anticipate things getting much better for the Razorbacks, who are predicted to go 0-fer this season.

13. Missouri Tigers

The Missouri Tigers opened the season against Alabama and looked just like they should when being the lesser team against the Tide, falling 38-19. TCU transfer Shawn Robinson got the start and was pretty ineffective against the likes of the Crimson Tide defense. Connor Bazelak, the other Missouri quarterback, was equally unable to put together anything of note.

Now they face off against Tennessee in what I see as a winnable game for them, at least in comparison to the likes of Alabama.

12. Vanderbilt Commodores

Though they lost, their fans will be quite excited to know that they aren’t at the bottom of the conference. Both sides of the ball for the Commodores put together a strong game plan against the Texas A&M Aggies and were able to play the game their way, slow and steady. They still lost 17-12, but it was quite a bit to build on and moved them up from the bottom of the conference to No.12 in my mind. Now they prepare to face off against LSU, who may or may not give them more trouble than the Aggies.

11. Ole Miss Rebels

The Ole Miss offense was fun to watch and Lane Kiffin got both of his quarterbacks involved in ways that I wasn’t predicting. However, they were squashed by Florida’s Kyle-Squared, made up of Trask and Pitts, as their defense couldn’t stop a nose bleed throughout the game — despite making a couple of strong plays. Ole Miss takes on Kentucky in a game that should be a pretty good one in Week 5.
