The Miami Hurricanes dazzle against Florida State. The Virginia Cavaliers and Virginia Tech Hokies shine in their ACC football openers.

You give me that funny feeling in my tummy.

This week felt very rollercoaster-like. The topsy-turvy nature of the Coastal division seems to be infecting the entire conference since there are no divisions this season.  Week four is beginning to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

The ACC did have one COVID 19-related postponement; Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest is rescheduled for December. We did have some good football this past weekend, however.

The Virginia schools — the Cavaliers and Hokies — both made their conference debuts in significant ways Saturday. The Orange notch their first win of the season. Boston College held off a pesky Texas State squad. Pittsburgh is 3-0 with a close win against the Louisville Cardinals. Florida State has a long time before they are respectable, let alone a contender.

Miami continues to get better. The Hurricanes want everyone to say they are back, but here at headquarters, the ‘Canes have too much of a reputation of being a heartbreaker. Here’s to the FSU/Miami rivalry regaining its shine someday. Here are your power rankings for week four.
