2. Zach Wilson passes for 400 yards

As mentioned earlier, Louisiana Tech’s secondary is horrid. In fact, the Bulldogs have allowed an averaged of 335 yards per game through the air to start the season and their opponents have been Southern Mississippi and Houston Baptist. Yeah, not exactly the most prolific offenses there.

Facing an aerial attack with more of a pulse in BYU will make for a nightmare day for the Bulldogs’ secondary. That means Zach Wilson is going to go off. Like off off.

Through two games, he has 624 yards and four touchdowns with an interception and he’s coming off a 392-yard game against Troy. He’s going to top that against a mediocre Louisiana Tech defense, posting over 400 yards and three touchdowns. The BYU offense will move the ball with ease and it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if he had over 450 yards through the air.

Wilson will top 1,000 passing yards on the season following Friday’s performance and really become one of those dark-horse Heisman contenders. Heck, he might even have more touchdown passes than incompletions — he’s completing a career-best 78 percent of his passes this year.
