Season Stats: 67% completions, 736 yards, 6 TDs, 0 INTs, 153.9 RTG, 1 rush TD

Second-year coach Manny Diaz seems destined to resurrect the Miami Hurricanes football program and transfer quarterback D’Eriq King is a big reason the process is speeding up this season.

The dual-threat player is a threat to make game-changing plays with both his arm and legs. His father recently passed unexpectedly, which could ultimately provide the 3-0 Hurricanes signal-caller with an emotional chip strong enough to provide plenty of motivation for the entire season.

Along with running back Cam’Ron Harris, the duo provides the Hurricanes with a formidable backfield capable of carrying the Hurricanes to their first-ever ACC championship — in the event, they are able to bounce recent conference juggernaut Clemson.

Defeating the Tigers will be a mountain of a task for King, but he has the talent to give their defense fits all evening long.
