1. Wake Forest holds Campbell to single digits

This shouldn’t be considered that bold of a prediction, but judging by how tough of a start to the season it’s been for the Wake Forest defense, anything regarding stingy is incredibly bold.

Wake Forest gave up 37 points to Clemson in the opener and then surrendered 45 points to an NC State team that had plenty of question marks on offense entering the season. It’s been a rough year for this defense but a matchup with Campbell might get them back on track.

Campbell scored just 21 points against App State and Coastal Carolina and 26 against Georgia Southern, so it’s not like the Fighting Camels’ offense is totally legit.

Expect Wake Forest to finally piece together a full game, holding the Fighting Camels to under 10 points on either three field goals or a touchdown. I don’t see them hitting 10 points against the Demon Deacons.

A much-needed blowout win for Wake Forest after a horrid start.
