BYU Football: 3 bold predictions for October 2020
1. BYU goes 5-0, enters New Year’s Six convo
There just doesn’t seem to be anything stopping BYU and with an incredibly winnable schedule in the month of October, that’s not going to change.
BYU faces Louisiana Tech, UTSA, Houston, Texas State and Western Kentucky and if that doesn’t scream a 5-0 record, I don’t know what does. The Cougars will have their way with Louisiana Tech, winning by a wide margin, and then UTSA won’t stand a chance. Houston isn’t the same team without D’Eriq King and Texas State and Western Kentucky don’t pose much of a threat.
So BYU will not only finish with a 5-0 record for the month, improving to 7-0 on the season and jumping into the top 15 nationally, but the Cougars will win by an average of 14 points or more. They have what it takes to blow the doors off each opponent.
With BYU winning each game by double digits, the Cougars will jump into the New Year’s Six conversation. This will put the Cougars in a good spot to make one of the major bowl games this season with matchups against Boise State and North Alabama awaiting in November.
